Faith Howard

Faith Howard is a passionate and results-driven Literacy Consultant with over 15 years of experience transforming secondary education. Her mission is clear: to support school teams and educators in developing impactful literacy strategies that make a difference for students at all levels. Whether working with administrators on literacy interventions, coaching teachers on best practices, or creating tailored curricular resources, Faith brings energy, expertise, and a student-centered approach to every project.

Faith graduated from William Jewell College in 2009 with a dual Bachelor's in Secondary Education and English, where she earned recognition as an Academic All-American and was named the Top English Education graduate. With a deep passion for literacy and a strong educational foundation, she continued her academic journey and graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming in 2021 with a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction, with an emphasis in English.

Faith’s expertise lies in supporting secondary schools with the implementation of literacy interventions and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), ensuring that every student receives the right support to succeed. She specializes in coaching literacy teachers to enhance their instruction and create measurable results, as well as developing curriculum resources that are adaptable to the needs of diverse students and learning environments. She also leads professional development initiatives, equipping educators with the latest research and strategies to innovate their teaching and improve student outcomes.

Faith Howard

One of Faith’s greatest passions is working with "the forgotten students"—those who have been overlooked or left behind due to unsuccessful literacy attempts. Faith is dedicated to helping these students succeed, bringing hope and tangible solutions to challenges that many educators face. She thrives on collaborating with teachers who are ready to innovate and push boundaries to support literacy growth at the secondary level.

Throughout her career, Faith has demonstrated leadership and commitment to education. She achieved "Lead Teacher" status from 2013-2016 and was promoted to Director of Curriculum and Instruction for middle and high school English & Social Studies from 2016-2018. Faith was honored as Teacher of the Quarter in Fall 2019 and has been invited to present at notable conferences like Embracing Literacy 2023 & 2024, the UW LRCC Annual Conference 2023, and the Wyoming CLSD LLC Fall 2024. Faith is also a key member of the leadership team for the Wyoming Secondary Literacy Community of Practice and the Wyoming Reading League.

Beyond her work in education, Faith is a dedicated wife, mother of two, and active community member. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri (Go Chiefs!), she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, playing competitive volleyball, and coaching middle and high school volleyball and basketball.

If you’re ready to take your school’s literacy efforts to the next level, Faith is here to help. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and start making a lasting impact on your students and staff!
